Widows of All Ages: Discrimination and Abuse. What Can the EU Do? Report

On November 7th, 2018, women activists and campaigners from all over the world, some virtually by way of video presentations, gathered at the European Parliament in Brussels for the seminar titled: “Widows of All Ages: Discrimination and Abuse. What Can the EU Do?”

One presenter / panelist included Dr. Mohinder Watson, Founder of Action on Child, Early, and Forced Marriage and NGO CSW Geneva Member.

We thank these strong women for sharing their stories, knowledge, and recommendations for how we can work together to be a powerful voice that demands justice, resources, dignity, and rights to end the suffering of widowhood.
